Data you create in the app
You may choose to add:
- Pet profile information, such as name, species, breed, birthday, adoption date, memorial date, and profile photo
- Memories, such as photos, videos, audio recordings, titles, notes, moods, dates, and optional location metadata imported from photos
- Draft memories created from imported photos
- Reminder preferences and app settings
Local storage
My Lovely Pet stores your journal data and media on your device. You can delete individual memories, delete a pet profile, or delete saved local data from within the app.
iCloud sync
My Lovely Pet can sync your pets, memories, drafts, media, and memory metadata through Apple CloudKit using your private iCloud database. iCloud sync can be turned on or off in Settings.
When iCloud sync is enabled, the synced data is associated with your Apple ID and stored by Apple in your private iCloud database. The app developer does not operate a separate account system for My Lovely Pet.
Analytics
My Lovely Pet uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand basic app usage and improve the app. Analytics may collect app interaction data, device and app information, approximate region, and identifiers used by Firebase to measure app activity.
My Lovely Pet does not send your pet names, memory titles, notes, photos, videos, audio recordings, precise photo locations, or backup files as analytics event content.
You can turn app analytics on or off in Settings.
Advertising and consent
The free version of My Lovely Pet uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display banner and interstitial advertisements. Depending on your region and consent choices, Google and its advertising partners may process information such as your IP address, approximate location, device or app identifiers, advertising interactions, and diagnostic information to deliver, measure, and protect ads.
Where required, the app asks for advertising consent through Google's User Messaging Platform before requesting ads. You can revisit available consent choices from Privacy Choices in Settings. My Lovely Pet requests only non-personalized AdMob ads and disables the Google publisher first-party identifier.
My Lovely Pet also uses TikTok App Events to measure whether TikTok advertising campaigns lead to app installs, app use, or a verified Lifetime Ad-Free purchase. TikTok measurement is optional. The TikTok SDK is not initialized unless you grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline or the permission is restricted, TikTok event measurement stays disabled and every app feature remains available. You can review the permission status in My Lovely Pet Settings and change the system permission in iOS Settings.
TikTok event payloads never include pet names, memory titles or notes, photos, videos, audio, precise photo locations, or backup files. Enhanced Data Postback and automatic purchase tracking are disabled; a purchase event is sent only after StoreKit verifies the transaction.
A one-time lifetime ad-free in-app purchase is available. Purchase processing is handled by Apple. Adapty receives purchase status, product information, and a pseudonymous app user identifier so the app can grant and restore ad-free access. The developer does not receive your full payment card details.
Third-party services
The app uses the following service providers:
- Google Privacy Policy — Firebase Analytics, AdMob, and advertising consent
- TikTok Privacy Policy — optional advertising attribution and campaign measurement after ATT authorization
- Adapty Privacy Policy — purchase entitlement and restore handling
- Apple Privacy Policy — App Store purchases and optional private iCloud sync
My Lovely Pet does not sell your personal journal content or create a custom account.
Permissions
The app may request permissions only when needed:
- Camera: to capture pet photos or videos
- Microphone: to record audio or video memories
- Photo library: to import or save pet memories
- Notifications: to send optional local pet reminders
- Tracking: to measure TikTok advertising campaign results, only if you choose to allow it
You can manage these permissions in iOS Settings.
Backup export
You can export your memories as a ZIP backup. When you share or store this backup outside the app, that destination's privacy practices apply.
Data deletion
You can delete memories and pet profiles in the app. Deleting a pet profile removes its local profile data, memories, reminders, and media from the device. If iCloud sync is enabled, deletions are also queued for iCloud sync.
Children
My Lovely Pet is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children and does not include social features or public sharing.
